The Student Social Work Organization is a collective of University of Washington, Tacoma Students who are investing their time and skills to promote social change and/or social justice within the communities in which we live.
Through our life experiences we have realized the importance of each individual, group, and community to participate in the advancement of social values that incorporate concern and advocacy for vulnerable populations.
It is through our legacy as students and future professionals that we will influence change, by our example, determination, commitment, and by our voice, especially for those who have none.
The Student Social Work Organization is focused on building foundations of strength and perseverance that are needed throughout a career of social commitment and improvement, as a student and in your future chosen profession.
