This year's 3rd Annual Block party, hosted last Wed. May 28, turned out all the stops to bring in participants. Numerous clubs created themed tables to engage students, some giving out free food like the MSA table's baklava, or Kayomi Wada's "Project Earth" table, where Wada gave out free seedling plants.

Raining Jane, an all-girl indie band from California, rocked Commerce Plaza for a free show. What made the students most enthused, however, was the food. Students only had to pay $1 for food and community members paid $5. Needless to say, the event was quite a success.
